Einführung
The fundamental idea behind this project is to build something unique and complete, not just focusing on some aspects while others drop, but gathering the best products from every ambit. The aim is to create just one optimum basic Suite, well-adapted for every kind of user, which can also be easily enriched and customized. To extend to the max user's freedom, reaching every need, the project goes even beyond: we present a huge collection of portable applications, that try to consider also the specific and professional interests of some our users; we finally have included a rich list of portable games, usually neglected by other similar projects, in our broad software database. Die Full Version hat viele Programme, und Spiele für jeden, sie sind organisiert in verschiedenen Kategorien (Internet, Multimedia, graphische Darstellungen, System, Sicherheit, Büro, Versorgungseinrichtung, Extra, Spiele); es ist perfekt für jeden, der eine volle Suite von Software will. Umsonst und einfach zu verwenden.
Die Lite Version ist völlig Open Source, und sie enthält nur einige wesentliche Anwendungen (7-Zip Plus, eMulePortable, Firefox Plus, foobar2000, Notepad++, SumatraPDF, VLC Plus); sie ist perfekt für jeden, der eine kleine schlanke Suite haben möchte und sie selber anpassen möchte.
Systemanforderungen
Die Suite wurde auf Windows® XP® und Vista® getestet und ist für 512MB USB Sticks optimiert (Lite version for smaller one). It works perfectly well from any device: USB flash drive, portable hard drive, iPod, Eee PC and others. Die meisten Anwendungen laufen auch auf anderen Windows® Editionen.Es sind keine anderen Systemanforderungen erforderlich (Die Suite läuft ohne Installation).
Help and Tutorials
For information about applications: open the correspondent data sheet (example) or read the "Lupo-HELP.txt" file included in each application folder.
Some antivirus report the presence of viruses in Lupo PenSuite: they are false positive, the Suite is completely clean, read this page for more info.
To update single applications included in the Suite: download the updated program from our website (so it is preconfigured for the Suite) and read the "Lupo-HELP.txt" file to know how to update correctly application settings.
To update the whole Suite: read the "How to update the Suite" tutorial, to know how to update it correctly (keeping application settings), or try the new Update Tool.
To autorun the Suite: you can autorun it from your USB flash drive, when you plug it, or from your hard disk, when the system starts. In the first case, you just have to put the Suite, without the main folder, on your flash drive (the "Start.exe" file should be in the main directory); in the second case you should open the Suite menu, select "Options" and than "Start ASuite on system startup".
